Atlas of Common Freshwater Macroinvertebrates of the Eastern United States

Learning to See, Seeing to Learn: A socio-technical system to to support volunteer water quality biomonitoring is an Innovations in Development grant funded by the National Science Foundation's Advancements in Informal Science Learning (AISL) program. This interdisciplinary design research and development effort brings together expertise in entomology, learning sciences, software engineering, and design with volunteer water quality biomonitoring organizations to create a new kind of teaching and learning resource for aquatic insect identification to support citizen science and environmental education.
